What signature facial involves
Skin changes. What it needs in a dry February is not what it needs in a humid August, and a facial that follows the same fixed protocol every visit ignores that. Every appointment here starts with a proper analysis under a magnifying lamp so the products and steps are chosen for the skin in front of us on the day.
The core is a double cleanse, gentle exfoliation, steam, and extractions where they're needed — done carefully and stopped before the skin is over-worked. Aggressive extraction causes more marking than it clears, so we take out what will come out comfortably and leave the rest for next time.
It finishes with a mask matched to your skin's current state and LED light therapy: blue for congestion and breakouts, red for redness and repair. Then serum, moisturiser, and SPF. You'll leave with some pinkness that settles within an hour or two.
One thing worth saying plainly: this is a cosmetic treatment, not a medical one. If you're dealing with persistent acne, rosacea, eczema, or anything that looks like it's changing, please see a dermatologist. We're happy to work alongside medical treatment, but we won't diagnose and we won't tell you a facial will fix a medical condition.

Every four to six weeks suits most people, which roughly matches the skin's natural renewal cycle. Congested or acne-prone skin can benefit from every three weeks initially, easing off as it settles.
Some pinkness is normal, particularly after extractions, and it usually settles within an hour or two. If you have an event, book two or three days ahead rather than the same day.
Yes — the treatment is adjusted rather than being one fixed protocol. Tell your therapist about any sensitivities, reactions, or active ingredients you're using at home, and the exfoliation and extraction steps will be scaled accordingly.
A facial can genuinely help with congestion, blackheads, and the occasional breakout. Persistent or cystic acne is a medical condition and needs a dermatologist — we won't claim otherwise, and we're glad to work alongside medical treatment rather than instead of it.
Come with a clean face if you can, and skip retinol or strong acids for two or three days beforehand so your skin isn't already sensitised. Otherwise, nothing to prepare.
